A timber frame tiny house... on wheels
I don't envy plumbers. I didn't think the plumbing work this weekend would be easy but I didn't think it would be so frustrating. It seemed that every time I turned around I needed a new tool or a connection that I didn't have. Despite the setbacks and frustration I am happy with were I got this weekend. I rough plumbed the kitchen and bathroom sink, the majority of the shower, and the hookup for the potential washer/dryer combo machine. I also hooked up the well pump and water tested the system. It seems I forgot to crimp one pex to valve connection. The first time I turned on the pump it blasted off and furiously sprayed water. Luckily it was in the 'utility shed' and didn't do any damage. After I fixed that there weren't any problems in the house. No leaks! Now we can install the shower. The only issue is that the pump has a leak at the pressure gauge so it cycled on and off continuously. Not a good thing. In the end I drained the whole system and shut down the pump. I won't be able to try to fix that until Thursday.
